Mary Hanrahan has been a graphic designer and a project manager in the field of Art and Communication for over 25 years. She received her BFA from the University of New Mexico in Printmaking and Photography and trained at Tamarind Institute. Mary’s love of collage/assemblage, mixed media, found ephemera, design and typography led her to pursue her Masters in Graphic Design at Vermont College of Fine Arts where she earned her MFA in 2013.

She currently lives at 7,300 ft in the high desert artist community of Taos, New Mexico with her partner Perry Penick who is a web developer. Since graduating, Mary has been working as the project coordinator at the Harwood Museum of Art overseeing the 2016 traveling exhibition, Mabel Dodge Luhan & Company: American Moderns and the West.
